Grain Markets Mixed as Corn Consolidates This Week's Gains
May corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, May soybeans are up 1 cent, May KC
wheat is up 1 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 1 3/4 cents and May
Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, May
soybeans are up 1 cent, May KC wheat is up 1 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is up
1 3/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are lower Friday morning after U.S.
markets broke their small winning streak with small losses on Thursday.
Thursday's data was mostly stronger than expected with jobless claims down
slightly, and new home sales exceeding trade expectations. For traders who are
looking for continued economic weakness to support further Fed rate cuts, the
data was a little bearish for equity prices. There are no new economic reports
to be released to the market Friday.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 11.31 at 41,953.32 and the S&P 500 down 12.40 at 5,662.89. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.233%. Early Friday, the June Dow Jones
Futures are down 83 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of
London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.47%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading
down 0.94% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.74%. Asian
markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.2% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index down 1.29%.
